About Chris

Chris has worked in software for 15 years and over the years has been involved with many different kinds of software disciplines including IP networks, telecommunications, interactive TV and orthopaedic joint replacement templating software. As a result, he has also used many different programming languages including C and C++ and is extremely experienced in object analysis and design. Most recently, Chris has specialised in Java™ Technologies, including J2EE. He is a Sun Certified Web Component Developer.

A long-term interest is lightweight software quality systems that enable the delivery of to-spec software on time without over-burdening the development team with unnecessary process. Recently there has been a revolution in software development - the Agile Revolution. Agile processes apply common sense to software development allowing software engineers to do what they do best - design and write quality software. Chris has fully embraced these techniques and for the last three years has successfully introduced them into his working environments.
